Overview
Iron Man (2008) launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe with explosive charm. The film follows Tony Stark, a brilliant billionaire arms dealer whose life changes forever after he’s captured by a terrorist group. Forced to build a weapon, Stark instead creates a prototype suit of armor and escapes. Realizing the deadly consequences of his inventions, he upgrades the suit and becomes Iron Man, a high-tech hero with a witty edge and a troubled conscience.
This origin story is not just the birth of a hero; it’s the foundation of an entire cinematic universe.
